Web ↔ Mobile Differences

Mobile DMap and the web DMap module work on the same DMaps and the same pins. Mobile adds the thing the web does not need — taking the DMap with you — and leaves some management work on the desktop.

Reviewed and deliberately deferred:

  • Pin clustering when zoomed out — not needed; pins stay individual.
  • Other object types on DMaps (Submittal / RFI / Drawing) with their own status colors — no concrete plan yet.
  • Managing downloaded DMaps — deleting them, or seeing the size of each. Today you get Download, Retry, and Cancel while a download runs.
  • Pause and resume for heavy Review downloads — Retry re-runs the whole download instead.
  • Filtering DMaps by discipline, type or package on the device — grouping covers the need.
