The Gantt View
Grid columns
The left grid shows these columns (hidden columns can be shown via the column menu):
| Column | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Task | Visible | The milestone name; long names truncate with a tooltip |
| Forecast Start / Forecast End | Visible | Drive the taskbar |
| Duration | Visible | Editable, in days |
| Progress | Visible | 0–100, the taskbar fill |
| Dependency | Visible | Predecessor expression |
| Dashboard | Hidden | Show this milestone on the dashboard |
| Baseline Start / Baseline End | Hidden | Locked on parent rows |
| Actual Start / Actual End | Hidden | Recorded reality |
| Note | Hidden | Free text |
Columns support sorting, per-column filtering (filter menu on each column), resizing, reordering, and show/hide via the column menu. The grid loads unsorted by default.
Timeline & bars
- Each milestone renders one taskbar positioned by its Forecast dates, with a progress fill.
- Parent (summary) rows render as gray summary bars spanning their children.
- Baseline bar — with the Apply baseline display toggle on, the baseline (Planned) bar renders beneath the taskbar in slate as the variance reference. A milestone with no baseline dates renders no baseline bar.
- Task labels — shown on/around the bars when the Show task labels toggle is on.
- Today marker — the current date is always shown as a vertical line; it is not controlled by any toggle.
- Event markers — user-defined vertical lines, controlled by the Show Event Markers toggle.
- Holidays / non-working days — shaded on the timeline per the working week and holidays list.
