Dependencies
Each milestone can declare predecessor links — in the grid's Dependency column or the dialog's Dependency tab — using MS-Project-style types, with an optional lag:
| Type | Meaning |
|---|---|
| FS | Finish-to-Start — the predecessor must finish before this task starts |
| SS | Start-to-Start — both tasks start together |
| FF | Finish-to-Finish — both tasks finish together |
| SF | Start-to-Finish — the predecessor's start drives this task's finish |
The Dependency tab lists predecessors with ID / Name / Type / Offset (the lag). The Gantt draws dependency links between the bars on the timeline.
Critical Path
Click Critical Path on the toolbar to highlight, in red, the tasks whose slip would push the project end date back:
Click the toggle again to return to normal styling.
