Overview
The Submittal module lets project members submit documents for formal review and disposition β shop drawings, specifications, method statements, samples, and similar β track them through a review cycle involving a coordinating reviewer and, optionally, third-party approvers, and maintain a revision history as items are resubmitted or superseded.
Getting Started
Prerequisites
Create a Submittal
Submit a document set β a shop drawing, spec, method statement, or similar β for formal review.
The Submittal List
The list screen shows the project's submittals in a compact, high-density table with the checkbox and No. columns permanently pinned.
Filter & Search
Prerequisites: none β all project members can filter and search the submittals they are allowed to see.
The Detail Panel
Click any row to open the detail panel on the right (expandable to full screen).
Workflow Actions
Move a submittal through its review cycle with the actions of three actor groups β the Creator, the Assignee (coordinating reviewer), and optional Third-Party Approvers: Approve (A/B), Reject (C), For Info (D), Issue To, the three Reassign variants, Cancel, Resubmit, Resubmit & Supersede, Take Creator / Take Approver, and Edit / Delete on drafts.
Bulk Actions
Apply the same action to many submittals at once.
Edit a Submittal (Inline Editing)
Correct or update a submittal's content directly in the detail panel β without going through a workflow action dialog.
Privacy
A submittal has two independent visibility modes. Both are one-way toggles β once enabled, they cannot be undone.
